I would say with proper guidance .CO could REALLY have a bright future!

Recently cc has decided to reduce their renewal rates. If same happens for co, I can not imagine the prices. Maybe we can force go.co stuff to do that, simply using their contact form. At least they know what is the expectation of domain investors.
