.CO Extension?

What are peoples views on the .CO extension? I'm from the UK so haven't seen it much used.
Is it used elsewhere in the world? Maybe it's popular in the states?

Good sales but a little expensive to renew. Check the completed sales thread. I saw several sales reported.

I think it is still used a fair amount by small to medium or starting companies. There have been 18 sales of .co in the first month of 2018 in the Namebio list, the largest being rival(.)co at $30,000. The top 100 list of 2018 includes 4 .co names (just after .de in third place).
