I've been regging a few .cn domain names for $1,95. Good registrar, only thing is registrations are not real time, it takes about 2 to 14 hours before your domain is registered, but for that price i don't mind the wait. I've been using them for some time now and must say i'm very pleased with them.

Enjoy your $1,95 .CN domain! (paypal accepted)

thnx for the headsup...that is cheap. godaddy is charging $20 for .cn domains!
i assume you posted this after you have tried your luck getting whatever good .cn domains are left..lol

unless it's a very good single keyword, i don't think investing in good country domains is worthwhile

you'd be better off getting .info, .us, .cc or the like

I think so. Actually, I'm not using it yet, just did research on .cn registrars recently, so I advise to check out their site.

I looked into the $.13 .CNs. It cost a minimum of $198 to signup and register them for $.13 each. Not really worth it to me.

Yes, this means getting the reseller account.

I think you can get .13 cents domain without reseller account its in their promotion

Also if you are chinese and you google google.cn domain you can get .cn for 1 yuan....

1 USD = 7.5 yuan...

Means 8 domains for 1 usd..

i think west263.com not sure on the link though..something like that...

I'm going to check some of these sites out, wonder if you just have to provide a Chinese contact address or have to use a China id #.

.cn`s the next rush!

.cn will be the next big thing. Largest market in the world, getting bigger everyday. Easy to type, it will be the bridge between English and Chinese markets. $2 bucks a domain, great deal. The red dragon has awoken!!

Cheers,
Candomain

Interesting thread thanks, worth looking into and thanks for the links.

I would be happy to hear more from anyone using any of the above mentioned and how your getting on with them, especially anything regarding paying with paypal, any additional charges? suprises or restrictions?

I couldn't get the cheapie cns, think maybe you have to be in a mainland China ip range, had a Bank of China account and China address. You can register for $1.99 at dynadot . Wonder if maybe the price is too cheap, I'm getting flooded with spam from .cn domains, thank goodness gmail has a good filter .
