I'm starting a coding tutorial site, CloseTags. I know the domain isn't any good, and I know I'm only learning to code, but if you read the paragraph on the index, you'll know why I'm making it.

What I'm doing here is looking for suggestions for design ideas, what I can do to add to it, what I can do to improve it and any other general ideas you have.

I started working on this today, but I've been sketching ideas on paper for the past couple days. This is the first site I've ever made that is laid out fully by css. It was a challenge at first, but I think I have it down... mostly.

Anyway, any ideas, comments, suggestions, criticism, etc is welcomed - as long as it's constructive.

I'd add a bit more color, because it looks boring. I'd also change the font to something better looking. Perhaps Arial, or Verdana?

Also be careful in where you place your ads. Make sure they don't look as though they've been plastered all over the place. Break up the space between your ads with useful content, that way people won't mind them.

My girlfriend already suggested changing the font so I'll do that. I was wondering about color, but can't think of what I want to go with.

I did the rep add thing for you. Last time I did that for someone, he said it was negated or something. I don't know why, so hopefully it works this time. I tried, at least.

I like the domain name personally very much.....nice for web programming related stuffs since web programming are the only language that have closing tags IMHO
