Let's hear what the experts think?

The .net and .org are taken.

EL Bitcoin would be better. Makes it masculine.

el bitcoin would be a good domain to have but i like the es signifying espana... i think es bitcoin could be very desireable to a spanish bitcoin site.

Just ran a quick check.
Seems all the bitcoin.com that start with two or three letter country codes and also state codes are regged.
So for your doman, hang on to it.
If you can find a bitcoin investor or company in Spain?
They may pay you big bucks to grab it.
I would also say, pick up now esbitcoins.com
I think the plural is easier for most people.

Thanks for feedback.

For a small $2 reg fee i'll happily take your advice there. I appreciate it.

I guess we shall see, I lived in Spain for 5 years and all I can say is that I'd prefer bitcoines.com but I don't think that is being used in terms of the country code.

I think you could do well for an end user looking for this domain. If you are able to hold onto it and wait for 1) The next bitcoin boom and 2) the right end user seeking the name. I could see you getting $x,xxx med to high. You may also want to develop it as an information site for the development of bitcoin in spain, ie companies accepting bitcoins as payment, locations of bitcoin atm's etc. Best of luck...

I've actually been reading that hundreds of bitcoin atm's are being implemented in spain and bitcoin is actually a very trendy concept there.

Thanks for feedback aslo!! I'm a bit of a nube at making websites but that's definitely something I was planning to do at some point.

It's crap to me but you need not care much about any personal view mine included ... I would not..

Anyway "es"+ keyword + com = senseless random mix of weakly connected bits in which i dont see any value as you can reg names of that quality in com/es/eu/info whenever youfeel like it or just have 10 free min to use up your 1.99 godaddy code.. It's itchy i know..

Any conscious Spanish buyer can probably get much stronger brandable/keyword name in .es in this niche for moderate $$$

Take a look at reported "es+" domain sales to check if putting country tld/code in front of a keyword and then adding .com to the whole thing has already made any sense to buyers or you are going to be thefirst and search for "bitcoin" on google.es too to see what names are currently in use..

..apart from that it's a good name and all.
trying to be positive for the weather is attempting to get a little better here seemingly ..after Glenda

Best

I do agree with what your saying to a certain extent and thanks for the feedback.
Having said that, the .net is an established Spanish site and bitcoin is a now universal term in most languages which makes it a strong keyword worldwide.
For instance esinsurance would be useless because it's obviously not a Spanish word. But esseguro which is Spanish for insurance is taken in .com .net .org....

I don't suppose there would be a lot of public sales with ES in front but privately?

Thanks for the feedback though.

Definitely not as good as bitcoin.es.
It looks too much like a domain with random/arbitrary characters in front of it. It's a typical regfee domain I think.

Again read this I posted:

Now, if all those domains are taken?
There might be a good market for them.
So you naysayers with es in front, go play with your play doh.

You got the plural too. Usually when you can grab the singular and the plural in one swoop it's a name you have to sit on for a while.

when i type bitcoin into google.es, the first page websites that pop up don't seem much better than this one in my personal opinion. bitcoin.org/es , queesbitcoin.info, elbitcoin.org... i don't really like any of them, but hey im not spanish! ...

For 2$ its fine. I wouldnt hold my breath for a big sale. I say 5-10$ if you sell it here on the forum. If you are modivated to make some kind of website about bitcoin and spain then go for it. Maybe list user group meetings atm locations ect, but it would make more sense in spanish :)
