This is my first domain I've bought since I've started my road in the domain industry. I am a newbie, I try to learn as much as I can every moment, but I also wanted to get a taste of it. I think this is a decent name as it has some decent amount of Google keyword searches. Also, there are some businesses out there that sell souvenirs online, so they might be really interested in this one. I am waiting for your opinions.

Thanks,
Alex D.

I saw what you paid for it .. I think you did well .. particularly for your first domain.

A lot of new domainers make the mistake of hand-registering very poor domains with little change of selling .. this definitely does not fall into that category.

Exact keyword domains have lost a lot of value over the last few years as Google algorithms diminish the importance for domain vs actual content .. but your domain still is good and has some branding usage potential.

Also .. online is a weird word when it comes to domains .. you'd think it would be redundant because all domains point to websites that are online .. but apparently they still sell .. so definitely a good start for you.

Best of luck selling it at a profit! :)

Thank you. I also think it is pretty weird to have the online word in the name of a domain, but I think there is a little bit of market for this exact combination of words. (I think I also did search for online souvenirs few years ago.) I get it about the Google algorithms and that those exact keywords domains are keep losing value, but I'll keep reading on that. Hopefully, I can find the right interested buyer and sell it for a profit.

If this is your first domain then you have done better than 99% of what other domainers did at the start.

'Online' is actually one of the most popular suffixes in domains. It used to be the most popular (maybe still is, need to run an updated check).

Of course this means having it at the start does diminish the value. I still like the combination of words though. There is a good chance someone out there will want this and I would think high $xxx is reasonable to ask if someone comes knocking.

Good luck.

@Dave @jmaurya Thank you so much, guys. I am hyped everytime someone replies to my posts because that means that I'll learn something that day. I will try to search the right end-users and see if there is some interest. If there is anything that comes out of this, I will probably make a thread to write about the experience.

I recommend checking GoDaddy.com before buying any domain name. Its Domain evaluation tool shows a very comprehensive list of similar domain names and their real selling prices. But Domain business is very variable depends on several parameters. So, luck also plays a significant role.

Thanks for the recommendation, I was already using GoDaddy appraisal tool. I think it is a great tool for comparing domains, but not actually appraise them. As you said, domains selling depends on a lot of factors so a domain appraised for $50 could go for $1k+ while appraisals of $3k+ could sell for nothing.
