This original artwork will be for a new website that has domain names for sale and info about acquiring a web address. The business name is Domaincracy and the tagline is Your eligible domain names. Domaincracy wants to be a play on the word democracy, so I envision the word Domaincracy with a capitol dome behind it and the tagline below. But you might have better ideas.
The tagline can eventually have the very small TM superscript.
You pick the colors. Transparent background.
I would like a large logo with the tagline, a small logo without the tagline, and a favicon with the standard sizes.
Vector, or high resolution that have versions for both light and dark backgrounds. Winner to send the original source files (.psd or .ai etc) so that the logo could be edited later.

Contest begins today July 14 2017.
Contest ends July 21 2017 5 pm PST
Edit, added 2nd place: First place reward is $70. Second is $30. Via PayPal. Thanks

Great so far!
  • I agree that all caps is making a statement, but I favor regular letter casing as easier on the eyes, hence easier for the user to read and hopefully remember.
  • @galalogo, please let me see it after you increase the tagline size to go from under the middle of the o to the middle of the c (to end far enough from the y) preserving the proportions. What would it look like if you put the little TM at the end of the tagline? Probably move it a bit to the left to balance it.
  • Feel free to use more than one color. Here is a color scheme example, not meant to limit you.
Thanks!

Thank you for all the submissions so far.
How to implement an international appeal? Maybe add or use a globe?
Another idea might be to add some fireworks by the dome, to make it celebratory.
Feel free to think out of the box :)

I like the flag! I feel that it eliminates questions about religious preferences, which is very good. Plus it's up, meaning all is well.

Looks like the site will have a flat theme, so can you please remove the strikethrough reflection?

I would like the D to be normal. The writing should be as normal as possible, with no interference, requiring zero effort to read. The viewer already needs to process the domaincracy non-existent word. That's where the artwork helps them make the connection to their -cracy of choice.

The artwork also would add a sense of trust - authority; of accessibility, welcoming; and of celebration, as in it's great that I found this and I want to participate.

Thanks!!
