I don't believe it, but the article sounds a bit different from those of Mr. McMahon so I don't know whether or not to believe it.

I really don't trust anymore when the WWE releases news about anything.

Wow that is sad. Obviously don't know how he and his family died, but a lot of wrestlers die way too early.

I really hope this isn't true, but after reading through some wrestling forums...it seems like it may be true

If it is true... then this is why they shouldn't play with death and use it in a fake script like they did with Vince.

Now they are having a tribute today...and people are wondering if Vince McMahon will be there...Will they risk the dead Vince storyline to pay proper tribute to someone who actually did die? What do they do now? And if this is also fake, then I don't know what to say.

He informed the company that he had a family emergency on Saturday. He was supposed to have a match on Sunday where he was supposed to win the championship, but he couldn't make it. And now he is found dead

Thats what I was confused about, I knew he didnt go to Vengeance because of a family emergency, but now he dies with his family.

Coincindence how Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit died right before they were suppose to win a title.

They have removed everything from the wwe.com website that deals with Vince McMahon being dead.

Wrestler Benoit, Wife and Son Found Dead

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a homicide.

Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said the three were found at their home about 2:30 p.m., but refused to release details.

Pope said results of autopsies on Benoit, his wife Nancy, and 7-year-old son Daniel were expected Tuesday.

Benoit, 40, was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles over his career.

"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the federation said in a statement on its Web site.

Benoit was scheduled to perform at the "Vengeance" pay-per-view event Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called "personal reasons."

Benoit, a Canadian native, maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling.

I read on ABCNews.com that "the instruments of death were located on scene", but there are no signs of gunshot wounds or stabbing... wtf?

1. He murdered his family and then commited suicide.
2. He found his family dead and then commited suicide.
