I own activ.mobi Valued by Sedo at over $31,000. How I wish it was an accurate valuation.

I believe all of my domains are valued over $50k

But that's just me ;)

We can set estibot.com as an objective criterion.

My domain name B2BCapitalFunding.com is worth millions.

Domain valuation is too subjective. Estibot is abnormally unrealistic. They'll appraise a domain for over 5,000% its real value. And what is its "real value," anyway? Again, it's all too subjective.

As the old saying goes, it's worth exactly what someone's willing to pay for it.
In this case, if someone sold a domain for $50k or over, then they HAD a domain worth $50k or more.
If someone has turned down offers of $50k or over, then there's a decent chance that they have a $50k+ domain.
Then there are many domains that are of such quality that it's safe to say that they are worth $50k+.
I would call all of those $50k domains.

Eh, that might seem logical. Some might/might not debate it. Really, one couldn't say fbrgrt-rgrg.cc was worth $100,000 simply because someone paid that much for it, right? It's a thought, I suppose. flowers.mobi sure isn't worth over $100,000 yet as I said, domains are speculative.

There is no criteria, sadly. That's kinda the point

(I was referring to the subjectivity of domain values, not Estibot. Eh.)

Yes but OP chose to add objectivity by using Estibot. What difference does its accuracy or what is the real value of value make?

I'm sure this thread was supposed to be fun and not not an discussion of who can really say what something is worth?

I think that Estibot can say what it wants for value - I'm sure it's protected by FREEDOM OF SPEECH, or are you a socialist too?

Of course there are exceptions to everything. No way to get around that.
Even if someone had somehow gotten a (legitimate) $50k+ sale with fbrgrt-rgrg.cc (not gonna happen), most of us would not accept the claim that such a sale would make fbrgrs-fgrg.cc also worth anything other than $0.
All prices are, of course, anchored in time and values can and will change with time. flowers.mobi was worth $100k (if that is wha it sold for) to some buyer, at least at that time, and whoever sold it can say and prove that he had a $100k domain.

I think i don't have a domain which could sell easily for 50K or more.
My domains are xx up to maybe high xxxx, if i would appraise them myself with realistic prices.

Most of my domains are xxx, which i sell to endusers by direct marketing.
So i appraise them xxx, because thats the price which they REALLY sell for, and not some fantasy in my mind.

Plus, i don't think i am the only one ,because honestly i have rarely see any domain here on Namepros which i would personally appraise 50K or more.

Maybe from the thousands of domains listet here, 10 to 20 in total the last year.

I think most people would not provide their domains in this thread. If they did, they may likely receive negative comments about their domains here.

The $50k on the thread was just to kepp higher the criteria, so that estimation would be easier and more realistic, and people would only post low $XXk or better.
Even if you can't give a specific appraisal price for a domain, you know if it worths $20k or $1000 - otherwise it's better stop being a domainer. And if someone disagree with you, may simply click on "dislike".
And in the end, it's a forum here. We don't have to be so strict with everything. Just have some fun. If someone believes his domain worths that much, why not to post it? It won't matter at all, even if it's a $XXX domain for the others. That will only help him become more realist, make a sale, and stop loosing his money on domains. The oposite only would hurt his wallet.
If the best domain in the thread is lakechargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.com, I consider that all this went well off topic. :D

I would like to think that one day my favourite domain would feature in Estibot's valuation at this level!

1066 dot com
