I saw a previous request for Chinese translation so am following that lead.

I've just switched over to Tiger, the latest Mac OS and don't have my translation ducks in order. I rec'd an email, in Chinese, I believe, that has the name of one of my domains, 7Dr.net in the body. The rest, I can't understand. I received several of these, figured they were SPAM, but am not sure.

Would like a translation or a link to site that can translate chunks of Chinese ("text") Characters into English. Thanks.

Heres a link to the email body: http://www.mindstash.com/images/Translation.jpg

Some of the characters seem to be replaced during the transfer to jpg, but it is enough to understand that is just a spam, or you can call it "email promotion".

7dr.net users,
Do you have nice domain names to "?? replaced by some strange characters"?
Or maybe you are searching a good domain?
Just visit "spam site url",
A "replaced" domain broker site.
-----------
198¥/year for 1GB hosting / domain name broking / domain catch service
All are availible at "spam site url"
Or contact "spam phone number"
Or via QQ (Popular IM in China) "Spam qq number"

You mean it wasn't an offer to buy at some incredible amt? I figured it was a hosting or "appraisal" offer- an offer of some flavor, but wanted to hear it. Also the "7" made me doubtful. Maybe, if the name were 888dr or was composed w/ an 8, 9 or 6, the possibility that the email contained some good fortune that was coming my way, would have been better. :hehe: Thanks duskdawn.

*Copied from an old thread translated by me...

Throw away the machine translators as I am a Hong Kong'er here who got professional diplomas in Chinese lol.

0EA.net 用户:
Dear 0EA.net user,
Do you want to register 3-character length (strange, huh) domains with .com .net .cn extensions?
想注册3个字符的.com/.net/.cn域名吗?
要知道:
You should know:
***.com基本上已注册(除非到期未续费
All 3 characters com domains are being registered (Except those are expiring) [ooo. I know this!]
***.net所剩无几;
There are not much 3 characters .net left
***.cn剩余不足1%
Less than 3 characters. cn is available.

本公司将搜集了所有3个字符未注册的域名,赶快登录 http://i.am.a.spam.site 抢注!
投资自用两相宜,机不可失,时不再来!
Our company had accquired *ALL* (WOW! NICE!) unregistered 3 characters domains,
take action now to go http://i.am.a.spam.site to register!
Suitable for Investng or use it yourself. Time is elapsing, and chances are flowing away (Chinese idiom).

A very typical chinese spam, trying to emphasis a fake news, and then tell lies, claiming they got all the thing you want, and begin to cheat your money.
