Now that the Chinese domain market has become a hot topic, I myself want to understand this trend too. Is there any real meaning behind each domain name sold in China? Here, I'd like to share with you what I've found as I read the Chinese news everyday.

GZX can stand for 更自信 (even more self-confident) which can be used in many fields such as education, self-help, and even consumer products to raise your self image.

XLY.com
XLY can stand for 夏令营 (summer camp) or 新领域 (new field) which can be used in recreation and high-tech products.

1.What is meaning of "je" in Chinese/ Cantonese I have one GZ dot je domain in my collection?
2. Why domains with 'w' at end sell higher?

Not sure if "je" is Pinyin. I couldn't find anything for it.
"w" can stand for "wang" (net) so good for Internet-related business with name ending with "wang".

Lending markeplace launched recently uses 2-pin domain name for long company name
ZhengTou.com(郑投) name is taken from the long company name (河南郑投网络信息技术有限责任公司). Company is backed by local government.

Investor paid mid 5 figures CNY for LLLN .com and there is a good reason
Fen7.com could demand high price because Fen rhymes with 分 and 7 with 期 -- a mixed type of Pinyin plus number. Together they mean "installment", which is a keyword in the mind of today's young consumers.

CY8.com so hot it's bought and then sold within 2 hours
Investor bought CY8.com for mid 5 figures CNY but sold it within 2 hours to another investor. 8 in this case also rhymes with the word "bar", thus allowing it to form many interesting terms, such as "kitchen skills bar" (厨艺吧), "creativity bar" (创意吧), and "wealth source bar" (财源吧). Creative use of LLN by end user companies includes live sites DM5.com (animation house or 动漫屋. Here 5 rhymes with "house") and QY6.com (company directory or 企业录. Here 6 rhymes with "directory").

BOSS8.com bought for mid 5 figures CNY indicating popularity of L+N pattern
Investor bought it because it rhymes with "boss making a fortune" (老板发) and "boss bar" (老板吧).Boss8.net is a live site using the name "boss bar" (老板吧) as a place for bosses to meet and explore business opportunities.

A proposal to not issue license to ccTLD except .cn
This alarming news just came out of China Domain Name Industry Conference 2016. It's only a proposal at this moment. Below is the exact text:

2、 ".cc"等非中国国家后缀被倡议不能备案。

Translated: ccTLD outside China such as .cc proposed to not be able to obtain license.

Actually I have not paid much attention to so-called chips and long numbers so I don't have the expertise on it. My focus is always on end users, which means picking names that are easy to remember. For me, numbers beyond 4N or 5N are probably for the speculator market, which is developing and I'm not against it. Like currency trading where 95% currencies traded daily are among traders, the same can happen to domain names. I feel your domain names are less for end users and more for speculators. Sorry not much help.

Is google translate a reliable source when researching 4 and 5L CHIPS?

Also if it matters in China car license plates are usually up to 5 characters long mainly 4 n + 1 l or 5 n.

If the numerics catch on with the people who want domains to match their plates a lot of sales in many extensions is probable.
