I believe only short and easy-to-remember domain names are sustainable, regardless of where in the world you live and which cultural background you come from.

Now that the Chinese domain market has become a hot topic, I myself want to understand this trend too. Is there any real meaning behind each domain name sold in China? Here, I'd like to share with you what I've found as I read the Chinese news everyday.

GZX.com
GZX can stand for 更自信 (even more self-confident) which can be used in many fields such as education, self-help, and even consumer products to raise your self image.

XLY.com
XLY can stand for 夏令营 (summer camp) or 新领域 (new field) which can be used in recreation and high-tech products.

I think pinyin.cn is one of the best things to buy. Most of the best ones are taken, as I think there's ~30m domains there? I only have a few myself, but am happy to get a few of the best ones I can!

Thanks, Kassey, for your blog posts re. NN and English k'words combinations.

Have registered two promising com's: one with 37 and one with 51 - in both case, with extremely popular k'words.
IMO, it's the money much better spent than going after "patterns" and "funny extensions."

Warning and advice from a Chinese domain investor >>

The most important advice IMO

(1) Bulk trading has no truth because of the burden of renewal, so the boom of 2015 will not come again.

I see your latest post "How is .org being used in China" and it made me think to ask the real meaning of 机构. I have read it means agency, organization, and government organization. Is .机构 not commonly used? How do you interpret it? It is ran by pir.org (same company that controls .org).
