Chinese investment

Lot of Chinese investment might have happened in domain industry . But is there any study or post regarding geographic /country wise distribution of such investments. A lot of rich and superrich people are there in West-asia Arabic region . Whether those people are keen to invest in domains ? What are their interest like numbers for the Chinese ?

My knowledge of what the Chinese are into is relatively small. Numbers do hold certain significance, but above all super memorable / convenient, and for a good portion of the Chinese (not all) are much more familiar with numbers, than the letters that we know (one example being the number 8, holds some significance to money or wealth). Companies / individuals have paid large sums of money for strings of "88888888" numbers...whether they be domains, telephone numbers, addresses, licence plates and more

They preferred number and pinyin based domain (similar to LL) so make sense and memorable. Lots of Chinese investors already resident to have grabbed majority of domain options with potential value. I donot think chances left is attractive.
