Chinese Cyberthieves alert. Is your GoDaddy domain name safe?

The theft of Lightly.com was only the tip of the iceberg.
Stolen at Godaddy and then transferred to Chinese registrar Ename, Lightly.com shares the same path as 8si.com, a domain whose owner documented its theft and loss in detail.

Using phishing email redirecting unsuspecting owners to fake registrar portals, the Chinese cyberthieves obtain access to accounts and domain names.
