Cheapest ICANN Accredited Registrar

Whats the scoop on this info? I'm curious and I think it would make a good topic. So the question is: "What is the chepest ICANN Accredited Registrar which requires no bulk purchasing, and not including any reseller option." So in other words, you can reg just a single domain. So far I found Name.com @ $6.99. Anymore?

What is even the point of getting ICANN accredation if you ask that question?

I guess my question was, "what is the difference to you"?

I feel an openSRS reseller would have the same level of quality and integrity as going directly through someone like name.com.

I'm trying to figure out why I would be mistaken in this belief and/or why you feel differently.

I understand that I was just responding to dax's post about $6.69 being the best offer (since he referenced ev1's prior offer).
