im wondering if there are any cheap domains/extensions to be had..

The only one i know now is .info for $.99 godaddy..

Are there any other extensions/domains sold by other registrars that are <$1?

I don't think you can find something cheaper than them now.

A lot of registrars now hae $1.99 pricing on .us and .biz as well.

Probably only at Chinese registrars not used to dealing with foreign customers. I have not seen any globally popular reliable registrar offering .cn for such a low price.

When buying domain names, you should look at market size, growth potential.
Growth potentials are where you usually see a higher ROI.

Looking at prices is like, what's on the market today? What can I get for this to keep?. Its best to have a specific niche/market and concentrate on an area. Not a wise idea to divest when you just gotten into the game.

nah i just need cheap domains.. has nothing to do with reselling.. ANY domain will work for me.. and im just tryin to grab around 10k domains for a project... so if i can get em for $0.20, better..

let me guess, you will develop them like directories like sites. back link to some chosen domain names, put adsense on them all. Try to keep a low cost on them. Update each domain everymonth.

And then send the message to the AP associate that you made 10,000 USD a month on useless content from google adsense from making $1 a month from each domain on average?

I think a lof of people are doing directories these days and mass reproducing them.
