Watch out for the fine print on the NetSol deal:
Domains transferred out prior to one year renewal will be subject to a $20 fee per domain.

*Promotional pricing applies to the first year and is valid for up to 50 transfers per order. Promotional pricing is good for 60% off the $9.99 transfer fee per domain. Transfer fee applies to the first request for transfer. All transfer purchases are final and no refund can be provided for this service fee. If transfer fails, unlimited subsequent requests of the same domain may be made off the same order. Offer is valid until 4/29/18. Domains transferred out prior to one year renewal will be subject to a $20 fee per domain. Offer valid only for domain name transferred to Network Solutions. Other fees are excluded. Limit 50 transferred names per order. Offer cannot be combined with other coupons or offers. See Service Agreement for additional details.

ETA: @Przemyslaw - would you be so kind as to edit your post with the above warning? Thanks!

Although it's a good deal, I'm gonna pass on that, Networksolutions is a nightmare to deal with

If they gave it to me for free I would still pass.

Good choice (y)

NetworkSolutions.com - $4, coupon code - 60OFFTRANS

Edit: As @usernamex noticed there is a catch (sorry, but I have not seen it before):
"Domains transferred out prior to one year renewal will be subject to a $20 fee per domain."

I see that most registrars have the transfer fee around $8 - $9 currently.

Yes you are right..

Their hook into you and then you can never remove our payment type.

Call support to remove your card and they tell you to get a temporary visa to attach to your account.

What a load of bullcrap :xf.sick:

NetSol and Web.com are one of the biggest scams in the industry. It took me an incredible amount of time and effort to get my domain away from them. I hope never to grace their corner of the web ever again.

This site (at link, no association with me) always answers questions like this (and is updated every few hours):
https://tld-list.com/tld/com

I see that if you use the code given at the above link that you can transfer one at Namesilo for $7.39 which looks like best (other than 1&1 which I think charge you to transfer out - have never used them but heard that).

@Przemyslaw - thanks for updating, no need to apologize, we all just try and look out for each other, there's no way for anyone to catch every gotcha : thumbs up :

It's much worse when the gotcha shows up AFTER the deal and none of us knew because the terms weren't clear or the company offering them changed them mid-promo.

Tld-list.com is a crappy affiliate website.

As you can see most offers/prices in this thread are not even posted on that site.
Why? Because they make money with links to affiliate offers.
