They are quick and reliable, also if you have multiple domains registered with them, the user interface is very nice.
currently its $7.99 for a .com (with a coupon code) which might not be the very cheapest, but includes free whois protection which is worth another $8 or so.

Domain name cost me $1.99yr and the hosting was $3.95month
thats a special deal at the time if you get the hosting tho.
