and a lot extra for private whois if.. but for two years, 16.44 so... ??

At name.com .info is 2.99 for one year and 8.76 for two years, private whois is free.

Or would you gladly pay in a year, how do you reason?

But the big thing is mental - mulling it over for possible uses, angles for sale and such. So in a year I will have a much better idea which of this flock is worth keeping. And of course I will transfer those to somewhere reasonable.

I agree, I often find a few gems out of say 10-20 new domains that have quite a bit of targeted traffic for the keywords. Last year I purchased some environment friendly .infos that have done well in parking and developed sites. Some did well straight away while others took nearly a year.

Mydomain are better for renewals, with the bargaincat.com coupon I was able to renew bulk for just over $5 each. I'm going to go for one more round of bulk .infos before the coupon stops & that will do me I think, have a lot of work to do now ato develop tham all. p)
