I wish we could see if anyone is in the chat room at any given time like we used to be able to do many moons ago.

It appears to me that the only way of knowing is to actually enter the chat room.

Agree with you, Scott ... this is one of the very few remaining "To Do's" from the old VB! :gl:

We actually HAD this very feature, as mentioned way above, way back when ... and then we made the concerted decision to upgrade the ENTIRE site to VB3 (no small task considering the amount of modifications and hacks that were done to VB2), IMHO. In my view, this was the best thing we could do for the future of the Namepros site ... and every day this upgrade is helping us to make the site better and more community-friendly (much of it "behind the scenes" and to do with growth, site maintenance, backup, security, privacy, etc.). :gl:
RJ has done a FANTASTIC job with the upgrade, and I will be bringing up the subject of the "Live Chat" at the Staff™ level in the very near future, as promised!

Does the current chat script have any restrictions? I've found that the first person entering the chatroom can kick/warn anyone they want.

RJ, the IRC has the "who's chatting" functionality, if you remember it's FTP'd to your server every few minutes.
