Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I just got back from this movie! If you are a Johnny Depp fan, or even if you're not - see this movie. It was great IMHO :kickass:

Anyone else get to the theatre for this one?

I have yet to go see the movie. Infact, I'm not quite sure it's here at the local theatre yet. I'll probably end up going though, as I'm sure my sister will pawn off my niece and nephew to me...to take them.

Im going this coming friday with my girlfriend, she said she wants to see it cause her favorite movie as a child what wili wankas factory, we would be going sooner, but were going to a youth camp... And honestly, i think i will stay at the computer lab... and sit there like i sit at home O.o minus world of warcraft and the type of music i listen to!

Haven't seen Willie Wonka yet but would like to.. I love quirky movies of this sort!

I liked Depp in Blow too, but I think Jordi Molla was great as Diego.

Another Depp movie I simply adore is Pirates of the Caribbean! I am so excited that there are plans for 2 more movies!

It was definately... weird. I wouldn't say weirder than the original, but it had its own weird parts.

It was strange for me as well in parts but it was pretty good overall. We saw it Friday when it premiered at the theater. It's worth the money but it doesn't beat Wedding Crashers which we saw tonight.
