Anybody seeing Transformers today?

ahhh, the movie theaters will be packed with gen-'x'ers this holiday weekend. My husband used to watch the transformers when he younger...i never really got into it too much, I'm still waiting for the Thundercats or Voltron movie

I gues the only comment i can make about the movie, not having watched it yet.....is that i can't believe they made Bumble Bee a camero. Chevy must have paid big $$$ for that kind of product placement.....

So let's see.....X-men, Fantastic 4, Transformers, i wonder what's next.....He Man? :p

Anyway, i'd like to hear your reviews....most likely i'm going to be dragged to the movie later this week. What's the 'coolness' or 'suckiness' factor?

I really hope the movie will be good as Trailer. BTW Someone mentioned Voltron ? Till now i had thought I ws the only one who d watched it among 4 billion net surfers Now there r 2 for every 50,000, it seems.

I think I watched Lion Voltron series what they called Gladiator Voltron or the Voltron of the Middle Universe.

Actually from what I heard it was Volkswagen that didn't want to be a part of the movie, that is why they had to change Bumble Bee. Maybe that is incorrect information though, can't remember where I heard that.

I just got back from seeing the movie, it was pretty good, the fight scene at the end though was a little over the top.

My daughter and her friend went to the Los Angeles Premiere last week. Said it was a great picture. Fast paced and enough action to go around.

So let's see.....X-men, Fantastic 4, Transformers, i wonder what's next.....He Man? :p

Spiderman, Hulk, Ghost Rider...... There are pleny more. And can I say Stan Lee is soooooooooooo laughing to the bank with these movies. He like JK Rowlings have all(Stan if not most of his comic book heros) rights et cetera. JK Rowling is young enough to enjoy her money. Wheras Stan is in his late 70's early 80's.

Well anyways I digress.....So look up Stan Lee and find all his comic books that he created or helped to create, and there will be a movie deal some where.

Believe it or not, I'm a fan too. To say I'm blown away is an understatement.

Looking forward to the sequels, though I hope they won't be as commercialized

i don't know how well the sequels would be, there were alot of big names in that film, and the transformers was a newer movie idea...would a second movie be as fresh as the first was?
