I like the concept. It's for Auto Racing though. Maybe get two stock car outlines racing next to each other with the same effect. Maybe change Inaugural to 2008 or '08, depending on what looks better. Also move the actual race name to the right of the logo and make it into 2 lines?

Do you have any cars that look more like NASCAR? Also, could you maybe throw in some sort of checkered flag to the right of the cars? That would look sweet! Also have '2008 Race for' on the first line and 'Muscular Dystrophy' on the second, with the same fonts as your using.
