I would like to change my default font
that is displayed on the web pages to mead bold

If I put the tag <FONT FACE="mead bold"> in the code
will mead bold show up in all browsers?
Or will the default font show?

Thanks John :-/

Hi John,

You might consider using a .css file and linking your html to it. Inside the .css file, you would have:

Code:
body {
font-family: "MS Trebuchet", , "mead bold", Verdana, Arial, Tahoma;
font-size: 11px;
background-color: #e1e1e1;
color: #000099;}

Only those that have "mead bold" installed on their computers will see the font though.

I hope this is what you are talking about, if not, I'll try my best to help.

John, I suggest you take Wade's advice. FONT tags are now deprecated and CSS is just easier to make site-wide changes.

Thanks

What I was trying to do was match the graphics on the
site, mead bold, with a font text

I don't know CSS
Just some HTML and my WUSIWUG is Claris HomePage

If mead bold needs to be on the receiving computer anyway...
I'll make some graphics in mead bold
and let the text be in the default font

John :D

Without using CSS, I think your workaround is the best alternative. Good luck :)
