Why did you buy the name?
picked up this domain about a decade ago (give or take). i thought it sounded cool and it was available.

What market did you feel the name would be ideal for?
the idea was that it could be used for a radio/tv channel. there's currently quite a bit of channel 93 radio stations.

What research did you conduct prior to purchasing the domain? nothing extensive, i googled it.

Did you already have a value in mind you thought the domain might sell for?
i think it could be in the thousands.

Does the domain get any traffic? (Please provide screenshot proof)
unfortunately this domain has been pointing to nothing for years. literally just went to a broken page. same story with my other 250 domains.

Does the domain generate any revenue? (Please provide screenshot proof)
not yet but i'm hopeful now.

Is there anything else you can provide that might help an appraiser not familiar with your domains target market?
aside from the being useful for radio/tv market, apperantly it also has a mystical connotation.

what do you guys think?

also, could this be a good one for monetizing or selling directly to station? anybody with experience in this?

I really don't see much value in this one. I wouldn't recommend registering domains without any real research

Unless someone starts a TV or Radio channel called "Channel 93" and they use this for a url shortener, I dont see any use for it.

Good luck though

Have you got any offers during the years you have owned this domain? Have you contacted any potential end users and if was there any interest? This domain is not for resellers so you should go for the hard to reach end user market. I guess a problem is that by now all potential end users willing and capable of paying in the $xxxx range, as seems to be the price you are looking for, most likely have established websites and domains.

If this domain have received no interest in the last decade it's a good indicator that reaching a $xxxx and up sale is slim.

Hi FanCube.

Thanks for the response!

No unfortunately I did not receive offers, which makes sense since there was no way to get a hold of me. I register most of my domains with privacy. Also the domain was literally going to blank page for many years. Wow, i'm realizing that I really dropped the ball. I hate to say but the same thing is true of most of my other 250 domains. Well the important thing is that I'm now getting ready to start tending to them.

Yes, there are quite a few of those Channel 93 radio stations who already have their domains now. Is there a particular procedure for contact companies to pitch a domain? Any good reading that you might recommend?

I wonder if it work to monetize the domain, like placing a list of all the channel 93 stations with some adsense and a for sale sign?

I'd suggest you google ch93/ channel93 and search for companies/ websites that have the term ch93 or channel 93 in their url or header ( for example area93.com's header says channel 93.3, but i doubt you could get anything from them, but you get my drift, yes?) and shoot them an email.

Also, i've noticed a something about chapter93. Didn't really look into it, though.

You could do something like that, but make sure that the site applies to the Adsense policy. Sites mainly containing links are not popular in Adsense. Overall it might not be worth the effort unless the domain already has some traffic.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to build the site up a little and then reach out to some of the 933 stations. There's actually one here in San Diego. ty

Good point, ya I'll have to think of some relative info to put on the site. Soon as I do, I'll post the link for some feedback. ty

The appraisals given here make sense. I'm definitely not think XXXX anymore. illusions shattered but for the better. XX seems a little low tho. i'm thinking the glass is still half full. there are quite a few major radio stations on channel 93 all over the states. for XXX one of them do it. especially if i can deliver with some traffic. thanks none the less for the feedback. critical feedback is good thing.
