Hello, i am thinking about setting up a local registrar for my area and im wanting to know which is the best reseller for .com.au domains. The reseller account must be easy to use and customizeable and has the cheapest prices.

If anyone has any recommendations please post here.

Thanks

Morgan

nice, hope it works for renewals too... would prefer spending $3000, not $6000....

.IN Registry is offering New .IN (All Levels) Registrations for first year only , just like last year's .In promotion from 1st March to 30th June, 2009. This promotion is for new registration only (NOT FOR RENWALS) and that too for first year of registration. for example if you register any new .in domain for one year only then you will be charged at promotional price mentioned above but if you want to register the same for 2 years then one (first) year will be charged at promotional price and second year will be charged at regular price approx USD 11.99.

During the promotional period We will charge less then 3.00 USD (between USD 2.75 to USD 2.99) for all levels of .IN domains.

This is awesome, will be interested to see what price other registrars have during the promo as i'm not a fan of Mitsu. I think we can expect a new LLL.in buyout in early March.

Not a great news for big portfolio domainers.. I would have renew 500 names for 3 years if they give same kind of price to renew existing names.

Yes i agree. They should rethink their renewal prices, otherwise we will have a new huge drop wave coming in 2010...

Where to buy Czech domains? (.CZ)

Can anyone advise me which is the best place to buy .CZ domains?

I have seen OVH.fr does .cz for only approx. 11 euro (VAT included)

which sounds almost too cheap to be true. OVH however has a good reputation...

Is there any specific registrar which has a specifically good reputation when it comes to Czech domains?

Preregistration of .MX

NIC Mexico Reopens .MX Preregistration

From May 1 to July 31, 2009, registrants of .com.mx domains will be able to register a .mx extension during this preregistration period. In case of duplicate preregistrations of the same .mx domain, favor will be given to the domain that corresponds to the .mx version with the oldest registration date. The cost of the registration is announced as a promotion of $15 US.

I have mine with domain.cz / active24.cz
Never had a problem with them.
Cost is CZK296 (incl VAT) which today is €10.45

active24.cz is the best choice for nonczech domainer.
The best price has subreg.cz (under 10€) but they don't have english pages.

OVH.fr has them for something similar as active24.cz then... Is any of both having a better reputation?

PS to all of you, give this extention a bit of attention. I have seen hardly any .com or such advertised in this country, all companies will use .cz and every billboard or commercial used in the streets of the cities will use .cz. If really they have no .cz available with the desired name, the .eu is sometimes used more than the .com (odd but that's how it is...). But .cz is king and I would safely say 80 to 90% of Czech websites and companies prefer .cz over .com.
