I recently developed my first (.CA) domain http://www.cwx.ca
The site contains information regarding Coastal Weather and Webcams for the British Columbian coast in Canada.
With one month of development it got DMOZ Listed, 120+ Backlinks and is averaging 120 uniques daily. And this is from a domain that has never previously been registered.
Alexa rank has not changed for the past 3 months (have no idea why)
http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/Canada/British_Columbia/Weather/
domain creation date : 2007/06/30
Anyways, my question is has anyone else had this oddity? I have developed many .coms with slow success (at the beginning) especially with DMOZ listing normally taking almost a year. Is it because of the key content and cctld domain? Any insight appreciated :tu:
