Any appraisals would be appreciated
The Wi-Fi name has double the keyword results (not searches).
If you have an opinion as to which name is "better", I'd love to hear it!
Thanks

Thanks, it was $1.83 for both including icann, maybe just park, 50 mill search results for the wi-fi name, 1/2 that for wifi name.

You can park it and wait some revenues as long as you can have a good SEO to position the site. Otherwise I do not think someone is going to find this combination looking for a wi-fi related site. If you paid that low for the domains you have nothing to lose parking them. Good luck.

These domains don't make much sense. Number of results in google is not search volume.

What could be there? A Wifi technology designed for casino? :(

It could serve as a directory for Casinos with Free Wifi. I'm sure people in Las Vegas and other gambling areas are interested in that sort of thing. My local casino has free wifi and free coffee so I go up there to work sometimes.

It is an ingenious idea, give me a domain and I will develop two or three ideas out of it. But the matter is not to find a use for the domain but how profitable is that idea. I do not see anyone looking for a casino with wifi since it is perhaps to suppose the casino has the service. I still stick to the idea the domain is worthless. Unless only someone calls the casino "Wi-Fi" that is an odd probability.

I was thinking of 2 things:
  • A directory/listing site as enterscope suggested. One reason for this is that many casinos in Vegas and elsewhere charge $8-$15 a day for access. McD/Starbux etc is free, but there's not always one of those near your favorite casino!
  • possible sale to a casino-related company or dn prospector.
The search volume for either term isn't tremendously high, but the rate for "casino" is very high, so (sigh) parking may be the option for now.

Casinowifi makes me think of a few things: 1. A system used to order food or drinks anywhere on casino property 2. A way to gamble while on location without having to leave the pool area. Use a tablet to play poker, keno, etc. Online gambling is going to be huge. There will be more kinds of uses for the name than can be thought of. At the least, hold on to them for a while and see what shakes loose. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I know a lot of Casinos in Vegas have the wifi included into the resort fee. Some casinios don't have resort fees and I believe the wifi is a daily charge but I think most of that is reviewed while people actualy choose and book a casino anyways. But I like the one w/o the "-" better.

I don't know, I've never heard someone say, "I don't want to spend money at that casino; they don't have free wifi." Chances are if they can afford gambling, they can afford good 4G service.

Exactly, and I don't think electronic devices are welcome to the gambling table.

Thanks everyone for your continued contribution to this interesting can of worms!

This is true to a degree. Many online reviewers, and people I've spoken to do get upset when they are charged an additional $8-15 a day to use their devices. While it's not generally a "deciding" factor, it can be an influencing factor, along with resort fees, and other items/services that are free or charged for at different properties.

Exactly, and I don't think electronic devices are welcome to the gambling table.

This used to be true, however with the prevalence of cellphones now, most casinos are pretty relaxed on this. At one point not too long ago, you weren't even "supposed" to bring in a cellphone. Now, in most cases, they are tolerated, and if you need to make/take a call, or check something, the casinos ask that you step away from your seat, or the table, and they will put a marker there for you.
