Hello all

I recently aquired CartoonBugs.com and checked Estibot for a rough guide to value. The curious thing is: if it's typed in capitalised (CartoonBugs.com) the valuation is $1600 but if it's typed in all lowercase (cartoonbugs.com) the valuation is $11,000

Has anyone else come across this anomaly? Can anyone give me an idea of true value?

not bad. I don't think you can get $1600, but maybe $150-$400

Estibot does that for most domains. I wouldn't count on that site for an accurate appraisal.

As for true value, it might be worth low-mid $xx to an end user. As for reseller value, it's reg fee. If developed it has some potential to make money with "cartoon" adsense ads.

I know Estibot is not to be taken too seriously; but it is quick and easy, and shows Alexa rankings and backlinks (If any)
Thanks to Localexperts for the valuation you gave. I often look at Estibot and divide by 10.

I took a chance before posting here, and offered it to a potential end user for $200 but haven't heard back yet.
