might fetch mid XXX if someone likes it, but probability of resale is very slim..
Why would a short car domain be very slim?
its value is about 8k right now maybe more.
8K.... For CarHQ.net?
Dont like the price tag? thats fine but its a fact 8k
Dont bash without research you dont seem very bright for doing so
This site is known for that, bashing new posters.
lets not do that. thanks and cheers
What is your research then?
You register a name 4 days ago - that was dropped and untouched for three years.
And now you ask 8K for it?
Here are some 8K~ .net sales:
christmas.net 8,000 USD 2017-01-23 NamesCon
effective.net 8,000 USD 2014-04-16 Uniregistry
pink.net 8,690 USD 2014-11-12 NameJet
humans.net 8,000 USD 2015-11-30 Uniregistry
babe.net 8,100 USD 2016-08-11 NameJet
Are you comparing your CarHQ with Christmas for real?
I am not bashing.. but you must come down to earth
.net stalled out around 2011, there are single
Category killer words in .net that can be bought for less than $8K
Absolutely true..we can just look at results of NamesCon 2017..
You guys win. im fine with that lol
Cheers and thanks for the info
but if im being honest....I still feel it has some value
its short and easy to remember plus its a car domain
Still would like to get 3k for this...
if a person really wants it 3k wont be a big deal : )
ill just renew until it sells
What do you mean by CarHQ, Car high quality?
SportsCars.net was sold for $1270 last year to give you some perspective...
I don't mean to break your heart but no one will buy it for that price, just move on...
so carhq sounds good to me
This domain has value. I'll stay put with that
thank you tho!
Sure thang.. Good luck with it!
I own RoboCar.net and dont quote that $ for my name.
I don't really see much if any resale value.
carheadquarters.com and many more sites like it are up and running already.
it has value and I dont care how you feel about that fact.
Sounds more like an "alternative fact". Best of luck.
I love being right.
Sorry to say but no resale value on this one. It may have some value to a specific end-user but not that high because of the .net extension. Low $xxx if you're really lucky IMO.
car not cars most car searches are plural so carshq would be better
.net so the .com benefits from any development in any tld but .com
hq as used is a postfix only postfix I personally like is net
whatevernet.com is a decent postfix
automotive industry is a huge mega billion industry, but there's no natural market for it, so it's a potential development play but no one will do that in .net
now if you can find any auto dealer with car(s) HQ or headquarters in their business name who knows
bottom line .com is king and HQ in .net is a weak postfix
While the name is not 'worthless' it could sell, but I don't see it even hitting low xxxx
most likely a low to mid xxx if it even sells
I wouldn't put much into developing it and it dropped, so that means whoever had it didn't even want to keep putting reg fees on it
yeah it's 'short', and HQ is a know abbreviation, but I don't see a big market for it
not worthless, but a tough sell and nothing to hold thinking it can be developed or an end user will break out xxxx for it
maybe the .com owner might want it as a protective registration if they think the .com is worth keeping
carshq.com has nice development to show what you can do, but that's the best name
carshq is the clear A+ for the term
it's still a week postfix IMO, but I've seen way worse
so low to mid xxx
I respect that last comment and thank you!
Most domains are hard to sell, it takes only one buyer and Boom done deal
still I feel somebody will want it.
I typed in the word car and 4,300,000,000 cars with a S has only 2bil so about half
Car is the word you want here it seems. ( in google )
Separate names with a comma.
