Capturing Domain Name Redirect

If I redirect 1 domain to another, is it possible to capture the the redirected domain name rather than the landing domain?

If you redirect with:
redirect-domain.com

to:
landing-domain.com

Then, in the address bar it shows:
redirect-domain.com

instead of:
landing-domain.com

??
