Can't use shared memory on Samsung d600 - Any help?

Hey

Just recently got my D600e, class phone - can't do much better really, just one problem, hopefully someone else has one here and can help!

I open up settings -> memory status -> shared memory (or media album - both show the same)

It says that I have "Available 67740kb" (67mb I make that out to be - correct me if I am wrong). So eagerly I opened "Samsung Phone Explorer", figuring that I can add some music. Have copied across "Free - Simon Webbe" now... and it is telling me (in the Phone Explorer) that I only have 2205kb left...

how can this be? argh! Can anyone explain?

PS: anyone know what's the difference between a D600 and D600e?
