Cannot connect to internet

Hi guys,
I got a strange case which I have not deal with before:

-Windows XP Media Home Center
-Can ping to any website
-Cannot surf web with any browser
-Cannot use ssh, scp or whatever client is (yahoo, skype)

IP address, subnet, default gateway... everything is just fine.

Any thought and/or help.

I had this happen once before.
My problem was on the ISP side wrong IP or something, But it would work if I connected with out my router. Have you tried just connecting straight through?

I'm sure you tried unpluging everything, shut down, connect and then restart?

I did it. But the same problem. I think the problem is about socket (winsock, after removing some virus and spyware) but just got me crazy. I supported it via remote desktop (can connect via this method).

I would start looking for DNS issues.
