Since the .com was gone, I figured I'd get the .net. Did an overture for "Canada Camping" without extension and got 2638. Didn't think that was too bad, so I reg it. Did a google for "Canada Camping" and got 39,100, could be better. What do you think?

Excellent domain! Camping has really taken off and a domain like yours is great. Nice site for a list of camping locations in Canada. But like said above, the .com would be better - but the .net is better than most extenstions.
