Can you make scripts or programs? I want something done

I want a script doesn't matter what language where like in church someone stands in front of a podium and talks.


I want a script or program where an animated charcter stands in front of a podium and I can type out words and the character says it or a bubble comes over it's head and says what i type.


I'm trying to make an online church.


Do you know anyscripts that can do something like this.

Maybe a virtual chat ptogram anything.

Hey, I made something like this in visual basic a few years ago... what you maybe better of doing is search www.pscode.com their is lots of source code there for what you are trying to do. Good luck

I have that done in Macromedia Flash from a previous client. Do you want visitors to be able to talk each other, or just the text that is entered to be displayed in a bubble on top of the character?

I could design you something from scratch but that would take heeps of time. You could use Puse instead. This should be everything you need, after all, HabboHotel uses an older (non-Perl) form of this multiuser server. The coding HabboHotel uses is known as Fuse (developed by Sulake). Unfortunately, they took the website containing the coding down, but you can still view it here. I hope this is everything you'll need. Multiuser environments are complicated when you try to understand them at first, so let one of us know if you have any further questions.

Not too sure, but rb, I think he's looking for something like HabboHotel, except the environment would be based in a church. Furthermore, the characters could walk around (actual visitors) and talk to each other on the website.

CoolGuy, have you thought about having a bot (as another character), that replies to what the visitor enters, rather than setting up a virtual environment (which takes a hefty sum of time)? The character would still walk around and the text that is entered would still be displayed in a comic bubble, but the character would be talking to another figure (which is a bot) rather than other visitors.

Just maybe one person like on TV you see the pastor in front of a podium talking something like that.

I was thinking maybe I could just make a flash file and put it up every sunday.

Nah, I'm way off.. What I have is something that resembles TMT by www.lightmaker.com. Like rb said, go for OddCast, that's a nice system they got there. I've seen it on a few sites (and banner ads) before- it works well.

Oddcast is expensive, I'll eventually have to get that though.

It's official I can't afford oddcast, and I don't really want to gain any profit from this site.


Does anyone else know any duplicates of oddcast that's either free or cheaper than oddcast?
