Can we remove privacy of expired domain at GoDaddy?

one domain that is in redemption and has whois privacy at godaddy can i remove privacy of the domain? if yes then how? its needed for transfer away.

Sorry, privacy is the deal breaker for transfer away after expiry at GoDaddy.

If your expired domain has Private Registration enabled, you will not be able to transfer it. Privacy cannot be removed from an expired domain.

What was the exact date of expiration? Up to day 12 there is no extra fee, just standard renewal. You can ask for a reduction in their $80 fee if you are past that date.

I had similar situations.. they gave me 50% reduction on the redemption fee.
