Can two people try to claim the same domain name?

I have been trying to list a domain name on Sedo, I have it forwarded it shows up, but for some reason there is one other person trying to claim the domain as their own as well. It is a private reg so it appears locked on my 1&1 account o prove the name is mone. How strange. Ever hear of this happening to anyone else?

I've had several names listed by others. Just send an e-mail to support with a screenshot of whois to support your claim. They'll do their own whois, and remove the domain without proper ownership.

It's possible the other person has mistyped their domain name - I've done that before, listing my name as *.com instead of *.info. :red:
