Put down the procedures for what I have to do to transfer a name's hosting to a different plan.

I assume I go to the site where I registered the name and change the nameservers to point at where the hosting is?

Do I then contact the host, and just tell them the name that is pointing to their servers and can they please attach it to my hosting?!

contact the new host and ask them what the nameserver settings are for their hosting and then log in to your control panel for the domain you wish to change and change the nameservers to point to the info the new host gave you such as ns1.yourhost.com
ns2.yourhost.com
