discuss Can .org extension be used for naming a domain name website ?

Can we use .ORG extension for naming a domain name website ? I'm thinking of using NameSmart.org as my domain name/ branding website.

.org is is not a taboo for domain names websites.
I am also planing to develop a domain name appraisal website DNAppraisal.org

You are using .org for a service, I think this is ok as I said before but for selling .com names I don't think .org is the right choice...

If you are going to sell .org domains, it's perfect. Otherwise, I'd think other extensions would be more suitable.
