Your site layout is alright. However, I am not a fan of purple in general as it is not generally considered to be a professional color.

Pick a better color and try this site out: http://www.hypergurl.com/colormatch.php

That little javascript popup or whatever it is that is coming up asking me to register is a deterant more the it probably motivates me to register.

Your images are a bit pixelized,m perhaps a little bluring on the edges or something would make them look a little cleaner.

Personally on sites that are a spefic width I think they're background should be darker, but others may disagree. you may want to try making it a bit darker.

Well, my favorite color is purple, but I'll try to keep that out of it.

I agree that the java pop-up distracts too much. A link somewhere might be better, or at the least a pop-up not so large and on the center of the screen.

I would get rid of the bevel and try different techniques using borders and lines. In this regard, the simpler the better.

Personally, I don't like the logo. The text doesn't fancy me considering this is a design site.

The roll-overs are nice, though.

It is a very nice and easy to use site. That popup is anoying though. I love the menu, and 3 columns do look really nice.

To be quite honest it is attrotious. I would never buy desings from your site. Also, you should have your site coded by hand and not done through ImageReady. The part I love in your code is INSERT CODE HERE, lol. Anyways it needs a lot of work especially if you are giving web design help, because it looks like you need it yourself.

I don't mean to by a pain or a ****, but it is true.

Ok, purple isn't really "in" at the moment, and there is just too much purple.

I don't want to come over as mean here, but, personally, i don't like it.

I can spot three different fonts on your site, and all three of them are a completly different style.

try to stick to a maximum of 2 similar fonts.

I'm not too keen on the dark grey background, and i think the horizontal rule at the bottom looks out of place.

[1] Keep the affiliate buttons at the bottom inside the site border.

[2] Change the page counter to suit the background color.

[3] Intergate the forum into the site (Match the appearance)

[4] Needs more graphics in the gallery.
