Hi there

I want to check where my web site is ranked in the search engines. I currently use dot com blitz to check where my web site is ranked but it only show results in the top 400. Is there any way of checking the whole of the web for its rank.

Google is the most popular search engine with users, I suggest you download the google toolbar (using the option that it is allowed to 'speak' to google about what site you are visiting) On the bar is a page rank bar which shows how google rates your site.

Otherwise just type keywords that you think users will use to find your site, or a site like yours and see where abouts your site ranks in various search engines.
