camera.info IMO would have been better (i.e. without the plural)

some might argue the keyword rich domain helps for SEO (especially the plural as more people are likely to search that) - not only do search engines stem words but there isn't so much focus on a keyword needing to be in the domain or URI for good ranking, as there isn't much weight in it anymore.

As a memorable brand on promotional material etc... I don't rate the .info extension. People would prefer it to be a .com or .co.uk/.de/.it etc

Agree. .INFOs have been selling fairly well in the aftermarket.

I agree but in this specific case, diamonds are extremely expensive luxury items... go to a jewelers and the markup on say a gold diamond ring is much more perhaps several fold than the value of the gold and diamonds worth individually.

Cameras are consumer electronic items, typically mass-produced for affordable price although with some nice markup, of course can be really expensive not just the cheap low-end point and shoot or bridge cameras... I think the buyer market would be completely different due to popularity of reviews online and experts at camera specialist shops. This said higher values are possible - just a combination of SEO changes and industry changes might be an issue. Its a global market, someone might be willing to pay big for it especially with a decent broker.
