I guess I'd shoot for at least 20k. Probably quite a bit more.
One-syllable, short .coms (especially ones that are homophones of good keywords (not that they have to be used for things related to that keyword (like care).. just nice to be related to a familiar word, I think, rather than something like zare or jare).) are worth a lot more than an above-average brandable that can sell on BrandBucket for at least 4k.
