.ca parking?

I'm having trouble parking a few .ca domains I bought recently... neither Sedo or the registrar (namecheap) seem to know why the domains won't propagate - and I'm certainly confused. Anyone have any insight into this? Anyone ever had any trouble parking .ca domains? The nameservers are certainly right (i've tried sedo and namedrive so far to no avail) and I know the domains havent been like banned or anything... so I'm at a total loss as to why parking isn't working.

I'd really appreciate any insight or help. Cheers,
John

I recently registered a .us.com and it resolved for about an hour. After that it just stopped resolving. They told me CentralNIC put the domain "On Hold". Problem with TM issue. I still have to call them tomorrow about it.

Either way, check your domain whois to see if status is "On Hold".

Namecheap shouldn't be any problem at all to change the dns.(and i really should read carefully!) It should be no different than changing a .com or .net etc.

I know some .ca registrars based in Canada seem to take their sweet time updating nameserver changes but they always seem to work no later than 72 hours.

What does the whois say?

I have never had a problem with .ca - either sedo or my own
host.
However I did have an issue with a .com through godaddy - it resolved quickly - then went off again for 2 days - then back on for 1 and back off
again for 1 1/2 days. This just happened in the last week, so maybe there is a central issue somewhere :D

How long has it been?
