.ca ext's question

are the .ca ext's worth anything ? i realize they are probably no match to .com but do they usually bring anything over what you paid for them ?

well i live in canada and if lets say a .com is taken first thing i look for is a .CA ...that is if im dedicated into developing the website.
they are worth some good cash if you have the right name
...it would have been worth LOT more if they let anyone register not just Canadians.

I look at the .ca extension the same way as I look at .co.uk.

I don't compare them with .com, I just rate them 'up there' along side the .com market, except in the country of which the extension falls.

.co.uk is a massively used extension within the UK, and I'm just sure .ca is as big in Canada.

There just extensions on their own level, as I see it. Some are worth alot, others; nothing.

IMO generic names (like 1 word: buy, shop, movies, ....) worth very very much even if they are .ca .co.uk (or any other country where English language is spoken, except for the .us which i think it's not very used)

I personally like the .CA domain, looks very professional and is of significant value to Canadian companies!
