Anyone here do any C/C++ coding? Maybe some Visual Basic, if you want to count that... Or Ruby... Basically any Programming language that needs to be downloaded to be used!?!

I do some C/C++ work, mostly for palm pilot applications though. It's been years since I've used VB though

You can't "download" the language. Even if you downloading it's compiler , you can't download VB's IDE legally.

besides, what's the point of this thread? i code in both C\C++ and VB.NET

Sorry, phrased that weird... I mean any programming language that makes software that needs to be download to be used, a console application for instance...
