Playing with some words....if I find a premium in the .bz extension...is there any chance of a quick turn around?

Just not a fan of the expensive plays.

there are over hundreds of premium .bz extensions such as finland.bz still unregistered.

but the value is very very low, almost worth reg fee.

Anyway, if the domain you found is really good, then go register it and Good Luck. :)

For your quick reference:

Auto.BZ is pending sale at $400

That's coming from the .bz king. :)

My only .bz sale was fv.bz for $80. Two character registrations aren't allowed anymore. I let another .bz domain I had with a decent keyword drop recently since the extension hasn't done a lot lately.

I tried flipping a .bz domain once, but didn't have much success. The name was script.bz. "Script" is a uber-premium keyword, definitely have sold for XXX,XXX and up given in the .com namespace. Finally with much wrangling efforts and aggressive promotion, it sold for a mere $16. :bah: True, it was expiring in less than a month but... :'( And auto.bz is going for a mere $400?!

I own no names from this extension and don't have plans to get any, especially with the high regging fees ($30 a year!). Perhaps this extension will have money in development (I think development is the best route for names in .bz) or in time...

I'm very tempted to pull the registering trigger on some of those still available names, despite my previous bad experiences (see above) with the .bz extension. But I wouldn't try flipping them again, would definitely be a hold. And the reg fees are turning me off, as I could invest elsewhere with the money. Anyways Etab, good post. Would add rep, but the vbulletin system won't let me. :hehe:

Then give it to rfm instead -- he posted it originally.

I've always been a .bz fan, but I don't own any right now. I'd like for the registration prices to drop a little -- after I got some nice keywords first, of course. :)

I now have the fv.bz that was mentioned earlier and after seeing some of these keywords that are available, I'm thinking about picking up another bz :D

Indeed, these registrars are making a nice killing on .bz. $17 is the registry price charged... and enom is charging me $26 D-: D-:
