.bz market

What is the current .bz market like? I've just been searching around and found some great available names in the .bz extention, however I'm not sure what sales are like at the moment for it. Does anyone have any information/experience with these domains?

To be totally honest with you, in my opinion, there is not much of a market, worldwide, for Belize domains.

However, 2 one letter .bz domains, www.V.bz, and www.J.bz , just sold for $750 each. So, if you have a name like that, you are lucky. Otherwise, even with a good keyword, it might be hard to sell. I sold News.bz for $200 a while back. I might have gotten a little more, but at the time, I just took the first offer. News is a pretty good keyword.

Anyway, do you think that developed sites with the .bz extention would be able to sell? I have my eye on a nice domain that is currently unregistered with the .bz extention, but taken for most others. I think if I get the site done well then it could turn out quite well.
Just wondering what the market was like though, so thanks for the fast response

I am the owner of some of the better .bzs (I am the guy who sold the j and V). IMO dont waste your time on 2nd tier keywords... they will rarely remake reg fee... the bz market is harsh.

I am selling off my .bz portfolio on ebay. Perhaps you will see a few you want to buy

As for the second tier domains, do you think it would be worth purchasing one and then developing it? It is a nice keywork, and if I write my own script for the site I think I could get a decent price for it, but I'm not sure if the extention would put people off at all.

A developed name is certainly worth much more than an undeveloped one. If you develop and market it well, you might get a decent price for it even though it's a .bz.
