I am still shell shocked over this one

Some guy basically monopolized the top 100 keywords in the .bz namespace all the way back in 2001. For some real ODD reason, every single one of them dropped. I was able to get around 43 of those keywords (the other ones are available still , so get scanning!)

I spent around $1,100 on .bz registrations (which i would have never imagined myself to do ) but i do believe it will be a solid ROI.

Anyways here are the names . I know some are better then others. This IMO will be a great "expiriment" to see how much money people are really willing to pay for good keywords.

Auto.bz is pending sale via Sedo at $550 ($400 after fees ).

My $20 a day .bz name has crashed in terms of revenue down to the High $X a day.

But it has earned over $1.1k in parking, so the investment has payed off already .

Same -- I was planning on developing one, but people had trouble remembering "BZ" despite the great generic keyword.

Well Folks, just an FYI, all names except the traffic one have been sold off (pending transactions)! Auto.bz payment actually came! So in about a few days everything will be done.

Here's a final report for you curious .bz owners:

Most of portfolio was sold for around $8000ish total + home.bz revenue would push the over the $10k market .

Still hold onto good old 666.bz and 777.bz . Every other .bz name is gone.

So subtracting fees, registration costs and (if any) web hosting costs, how much profit did you make overall? I'm guessing in terms of percentages it was well well well over 1000%.

As far as Sam's names go, Travel.bz especially could be flipped for low $x,xxx pretty easily...Travel.ext names are very hard to come by. The old owner may have been asking for too much for all the names, and/or died before he got a chance to sell them. After all, why not auction them off if you KNOW they're good and are going to drop and you don't want to renew?

well, you couldnt sell Poker.in simply because gambling is illegal in India and there are no casinos. Poker is not really well known there, so you'll never get a great deal for the keyword

Obviously I wouldn't want to sell Poker.in for less than mid xx,xxx, and getting that kinda amount would take some time. He could get low xx,xxx anyday with that name
