Buying stickies?

I'm considering making one of my posts in the Fixed Offers forum a sticky to ensure better publicity. Before I do that, however, I had a few questions:

1. Does a sticky expire over time? Do I have to pay for its renewal? If yes, how much and at what intervals?

2. How much can I edit a sticky a month or two months after it was originally posted? Can I change the title of the sticky to ensure a more accurate description of the domains I'm selling?
